Oct. 16th - RV Show

While John was still on his business trip, my parents and I went to the annual RV show in Pomona.  John and I have been saving up to buy a trailer so we wanted to get a feel for what's out there.  Our criteria are:
  1. hard-sided (no tent-trailers)
  2. it has to be light enough for my Chevy Trailblazer to pull it
  3. we're looking for a floorplan that's kid-friendly because we hope to keep it for awhile
There were actually a lot of options from different makers.  Unfortunately, because of our weight requirement we won't be able to get one with a slide-out ... they just add too much weight.  We narrowed it down to two favorites.

One is a hybrid trailer.  It's 90% a hard-sided trailer with tent trailer beds.  It's really roomy!

The second option we liked (and probably our favorite) is a traditional trailer with bunk beds in the back and a bed in the front that folds up into a couch.

See, fits just right!!
