This year we spent Mother's Day with both of our families. We did my family in the morning and John's family in the afternoon. We met over at my parent's house in the morning for breakfast. My Dad made his usual feast for us to enjoy. Afterwards we finally celebrated Renee's birthday (yeesh!) and then we opened cards/gifts before we spent some time just hanging out. My Grandma came down to be with us so it was really nice for us all to have a chance to get together. We all live within 3 miles of one another but you'd be amazed at how hard it is for all of us to have time to hang out. (We should just MAKE time.)
