We needed to make a quick trip to Petsmart … we were having an off night so no-one was really happy about it.  Baby was fussy, dog was all over the place, and Mommy was tearing her hair out.  Next time, Daddy goes.

John’s parents took a vacation in the Philippines so I had to figure out some alternate day care providers for Landen for 5 Mondays and Tuesdays.  Luckily we have amazing friends and family who offered to watch him for us (for free).  My Dad took off 2 days of work, our family friend Joi took two days, and Renee’s mom Debbie took one day (Renee and Taylor helped!).  Landen had a blast with them!

Nala had a great time hanging out with her grandparents.  Apparently too much fun.  Look at how dirty she is!!  She earned herself a bath.

Wednesday, February 15^th

Renée bought Landen a cute newborn swaddle that came with a Mickey Mouse ears hat.  I realized I hadn’t taken a single picture of him wearing it so I decided to remedy that!  I was afraid it wouldn’t fit anymore with his giant head, but it stretchy enough to get on there.  Isn’t my little Disney fan a cutie???

Thursday, February 16^th

My mom and Joi took Nala and Landen to the park for one of their usual walks.  However, once they got there and got unloaded they realized they forgot Nala’s leash!  Technically, Nala doesn’t need a leash but the park ranger frowns upon dogs walking around without one.  They were feeling too lazy to drive back home so they grabbed a towel out of the back of a car and tied it to her harness.  It wasn’t pretty but it got the job done!

We decided to go to Fish Tale for dinner to celebrate Valentine’s Day a few nights late.  Landen has finally starting playing with his carrier toys and is now obsessed with grabbing his bugs.

Friday, February 17^th

Landen has a good time at his Mimi’s on Thursdays and Fridays.  Doesn’t he look handsome in the pink flowery bib?

They went on a trip to the grocery store.  It went great until the very end and then it was meltdown city!  (Someone needed a nap.)
