Landen's connection with his Grandma Jan

Before jumping into the tale of Landen's NICU stay, I thought I'd share something really neat.  Not only is Landen incredibly blessed to have been born into the amazing Walborn-Parducho family, he gets to share his birthday with this wonderful lady:

That's right! Landen and my Grandma have the same birthday!  And because she had come down to spend her birthday with my parents, Grandma was able to be at the hospital when I was in labor and when Landen was born.  How special is that??  I'm so very happy that we got to share the experience with her.  It meant so much to be able to have her there, especially since nothing had been planned!  Landen and his Grandma Jan will always have a special connection between the two of them and I think it's pretty wonderful.

Added bonus: I'm pretty sure I win for giving my Grandma the best birthday present ever!!  I'd like to see one of you top a great-grandchild.  :o)
