January 14th – January 20th

Monday, January 14th
More fun at the park

Tuesday, January 15th
Landen loves to play and run around the house.  When Nala joins in – even better!

This video is nothing overly exciting but it’s perfectly shows how he plays.  He goes from one activity to the next in seconds.  I love when we stops, realizes there’s music playing, dances a second, and then claps with the audience on the soundtrack.  He’s so entertaining. J

When I spin around it makes me dizzy!

Sunday, January 20th
We found and great deal and decided to buy a zoo pass to the LA Zoo for our family.  We spent the morning there checking it out and introducing Landen to the animals.  We was a bit oblivious but he’ll be more excited as he learns more of the animals.

We’re going to do what??

Too much fun!

We had special tickets to see the Golden Horseshoe Dinner Show.  They put it on as a limited time offering.  Here is the synopsis:  Inspired by the world-famous Frontierland show that Walt Disney himself began in 1955, A Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue features a variety of songs and dance numbers from past productions and is an homage to fun-filled, family friendly musical entertainment.  The dinner menu was inspired by the show’s original menu:
  • Starter: Corn chips in a souvenir Golden Horseshoe boot mug
  • Entrees: Black forest ham and roast beef sandwiches
  • Sides: Golden raisin and carrot salad, Yukon golden potato salad, Very Berry fruit salad
  • Beverages: Mint Julep, water, coffee
  • Dessert: Walt & Lilly's 30th Anniversary Celebration Cake
We met up with my parents, Joi, and Deanna and Loryn for the show.  We had a good time and enjoyed the show.

Afterwards we did some more wandering around the park.  We didn’t stay too  much longer though because it was cold!
