Silver dollar pancakes – yum!

Landen was gifted a handmade wooden train by the neighbor of a family friend (James). We can’t believe the detail and workmanship that went into it.  It’s amazing and Landen loves it!

We went to Mimi’s Café for dinner and Landen wanted to try the lemon. It took a second to register but he wasn’t a fan.

Thursday, May 2^nd

Adventures with Mimi and Auntie!  They got to visit a firetruck (and get a sticker) and check out a lingerie store.  And then rounded out the day by pulling kleenex’s out of the box.  Fun!

Friday, May 3^rd

Filling out the daily report

We had a few minutes to spare before dinner reservations so we went for a walk and found some water fountains.  Landen is OBSESSED with waterfalls, and water in general.  He was so excited!

Saturday, May 4^th

You put it on just like this Mommy.

I went to an all day scrapbooking event where I won the prize for the most pages complete!  (My horse is the one at the finish line.)  I worked on making a baby book for Landen.

Since I was gone all day John and Landen got to spend some quality time together.  They played outside in the backyard most of the day.  All that playing meant a shower was in order before bed.

April 22nd – April 28th

Tuesday, April 23^rd

Helping Daddy plant flowers on the porch and then sweep up after.

We don’t usually let Landen play with our phones much when we’re in restaurants, but sometimes you get that point where it’s either you hand over the phone or everyone suffers through their meal.  We opted for peace and quiet.

Some of John’s cousins arranged for us all the meet with the kids at the LA Zoo and get to spend some time together.  We still have our annual membership so it was perfect.

April 17th - Impromptu home photoshoot

Landen was laughing and having a good time one evening so John grabbed his camera and took a few shots of him.  They are adorable.  I love how they show his silly side.
